CD1343- East entrance of Reno County Courthouse. Fallout shelter is located in the basement and can accommodate 1415 people. (13-15 May 1968)

CD1346- Civil Defense sign on wall in corridor leading to the Civil Defense Office located in the Reno County Courthouse. (13-15 May 1968)

CD1347 - Civil Defense supplies stored in shelter located in the basement of the Reno County Courthouse. This dual-use area is routinely used as a lunchroom. (13-15 May 1968)  Is it my imagination, or are we all hiding our faces here?

CD1344- In the Civil Defense Office located in the Reno County Courthouse, Secretary Joan Beery and Civil Defense Director J.W. Pederson discuss distribution of public fallout shelters in Hutchinson. (13-15 May 1968)

CD1348- City of Hutchinson-Reno County Civil Defense Emergency Operating Center located in the basement of the Reno County Courthouse. The equipment shown includes a teletype unit, typewriter, speaker units, radio units, converters, telephones and linear amplifiers. Civil Defense Secretary Joan Beery operates the teletype unit.
